Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush, Retractable Bristles
Brush out loose fur, then press a button so it lets go of the brush instead of your hands.
- Press the button and the pins retract, releasing trapped fur in one go.
- Fine pins suit a cat's coat; the same brush works through a dog's thicker undercoat too.
- No picking clumps of fur out of the bristles by hand afterwards.
- Rounded pin tips massage the skin as you brush.

In use
The five minutes before it ends up on the sofa
Loose undercoat comes out either during a brushing session or later, on the sofa, the carpet and your jumper. A few minutes with this brush most days catches it first.
Run the pins through the coat as normal. When the brush is full, press the button on the back and the pins retract into the head, so the fur that was clinging to them releases in one motion instead of being pulled off strand by strand.
Why it works
Why this brush earns a place by the sofa
Loose undercoat is easiest to deal with before it reaches the fabric. A few things this brush is built to make that easy.
-
Self-cleaning
Press the button and the pins retract into the head, releasing the fur they picked up.
-
Gentle on cats
Fine pins remove tangles and loose undercoat without catching the skin underneath.
-
One brush, two pets
Sturdy enough for a dog's thick undercoat, gentle enough for a cat's coat too.
-
Less fur left behind
Cuts down what ends up on the floor, the sofa and your clothes after a session.
Compared
Against a standard slicker brush
A standard slicker brush does the same job on the coat. The difference shows up afterwards, when the fur is stuck in the pins and has to be picked out by hand before the brush is ready to use again.
