Turn the roof of the car into a night sky. This USB star projector throws a field of tiny stars across the ceiling, and a single touch switches it between a soft night light and the full galaxy.

Read the full description Show less

Three modes on one touch switch: tap once for night light, twice for the galaxy star projection, three times to turn off.
A short touch changes the mode. A long touch raises or lowers the brightness until it suits the mood.
Rotate the lamp head to bring the stars into focus. If the projection looks soft, a small turn sharpens it.
Powered at 5V over USB, so it runs from the sockets you already use in the car.
The lamp head adjusts through 360°, so you can aim the stars at the part of the roof you want lit.
Choose the number of projector films that suits you: 3, 6, 12 or 24, each one a different pattern to swap in.
Choose the light colour that suits the car: 3000K golden, 4300K white yellow, 6000K cold white or 8000K white blue.

It is an ABS lamp that weighs 150 g and packs into a box of 10 x 10 x 5 cm. It is sold as a car interior roof ambient light and a galaxy star projector night light. It gives a gentle glow rather than bright working light, so think evening drives and parked-up moments, not reading.

A good fit for the driver who has everything else sorted, a first-car present, or a small treat for a long journey.

Why it works

One lamp, a few touches

A touch on the lamp changes what it does, so you can set the mood without reaching for anything else.

Touch control
Tap for the night light or the stars. A long touch dims or brightens the light.
Bring the stars into focus
Turn the lamp head until a soft picture sharpens up.

Choose your films
More projector films means more patterns to switch between.

Against the dome light you already have

Questions, answered

Can I use it as a reading light?

It works as a night light and a star projector. It gives a soft glow, so it suits winding down more than lighting up a page.

How do I change the mode?

Tap the lamp once for the night light and twice for the star projection. Three taps turn it off. A long touch dims or brightens the light.

Why does the picture look soft?

Turn the lamp head until the stars come into focus.
